REVIEW: “Just Hold On To Love” - Paul Parker

“Just Hold On To Love” - Paul Parker
Utmosis
Produced by Jeff Crerie

Let go of your breath – the new single from Paul Parker is now available.

“Just Hold On To Love" is a plea to keep the magic of a relationship alive and look at the good rather than move on the negative. I can identify with this through Paul’s powerful form in this track and also know that dance music has waited long enough for Mr. Parker to deliver such a track.

The music is a flowing effervescent experience of keyboards leaving the song open for Paul to take over. And he does. Throughout many bridges you can experience the energy that Paul Parker has made in his first solo effort “Right On Target” in 1982.

Working with Patrick Cowley on earlier projects was an opportunity for Parker to start a career of his own. The dance community has benefited from Paul’s many classic originals and covers from the early 80’s throughout the 90’s and now with “Just Hold On To Love” we are taken to a new place with the comfort of Paul’s acquaintance.

This one is possibly an anthem on its own. All of the elements are there.

80's Revival: Stacey Q LIVE at Brass Rail - 11/2/07

Stacy Q ("Two Of Hearts", "Insecurity", "We Connect") performed at my old alma mater, Brass Rail on 11/2/07 - I had worked at the Brass Rail from 1980 - 1991 and it was great to step back in the club to see it now as a lounge dance club - from discotheque back in 1970's through the millineum. The Brass Rail is the oldest gay club in San Diego today. It is still a fabulous club.

The 80's reivival party was quite an event. Lots of fun and of course, Ms. Q!
