ALPHA MUSIC MANUFACTURING PLANT IN FLORIDA EXPANDING…
Jeffrey Collins has arranged to expand ALPHA MUSIC into a worldwide operation to help bring back VINYL RECORDS. “With the installation of 6 more Record Presses at the Plantation Plant in FL, we will be able to increase our output by 200% of both 7” and 12” pressings.” Collins states… “We have also teamed up with and have an interest in 3 other Vinyl Pressing Plants (in the U.K., Italy and Australia) which will able us to offer a Worldwide Vinyl Service for Major & Independent Record labels. There is still a demand for Vinyl Records, which is the only true way to listen to good music and be able to listen to the way that it was recorded. Since the advent of the CD & then Digital Downloads, the true sound of music has deteriorated and our goal is to bring the real sound of music back to the people!”

Alec R. Costandinos has placed his name high above the wall of disco greats – and with projects like “Romeo & Juliet” from 1977 it is no wonder. Recorded in London using some of the most talented and remarkable musicians and technical engineers from the disco era.
This creation disco-fied William Shakespeare’s tale of love and tragedy and made it a common know masterpiece among disco audiophiles. It is truly a wonderful piece of music that transcends dance floors.
Taking Franco Zeffirelli’s 1968 “Romeo & Juliet” featuring Olivia Hussey and Leonard Whiting and match the drama is the only way I could pay homage to Costandinos for his genius. It is truly an experience that brought tears to my eyes.

REISSUE: "Jungle Boogie" by Kool and The Gang - Disco Video Mix by Glenn Rivera
From the 1973 LP "Wild And Peaceful" by Kool and The Gang comes the soul track, "Jungle Boogie". A funky excursion into a wild safari with funky guitar riffs and chants on the beat. This one was a biggie for the formulation of soulful elements and a groove.
This track is considered an old-school classic and continues to make retro dance floors catch the funk with a hand full of soul.
I have taken scenes from the 1967 Walt Disney film, "Jungle Book" into the Disco Mix arena and blended the two to create a light farce of dancing monkeys, cool tigers and our hero, Mowgli.
The film was directed by Wolfgang Reitherman

REISSUE: "That Old Black Magic" by Jeanne Shy - Disco Video Mix by Glenn Rivera
One of 1979 gifts to discotheques was Jeanne Shy. Her 12" single "Night Dancer"/"That Old Black Magic" produced by Bob Esty was always a favorite of mine and stood out as a production extraordinaire.
Jeanne's vocals are the most incredible disco performance on "Night Dancer" and on the flip side she transforms the classic standard "That Old Black Magic" into her own disco anthem. This recording always made my heart soar and feet move, of course. Bob Esty's wonderful studio ensemble also creates a memorable feel with both Jeanne's placemat and the swirling strings and funky guitars his productions are known for.
I have taken the 1958 film "Bell Book and Candle" into this Disco Video Mix - the film stars James Stewart, Kim Novak and Jack Lemmon. Not known more for it's efforts to revive the chemistry between Stewart and Novak - for what Alfred Hitchcock did in "Vertigo" - the story centers around a coven of modern day witches and warlock's in the big city. Eventually, our lead temptress and witch, Ms. Novak captures Stewart with a spell and later becomes captured herself by becoming emotionally involved with a mortal.
The film was directed by Richard Quine and is notable only for the starring roles - however, now with a proper soundtrack it can have a deeper and meaningful edge.

Disturbing footage from "War Of The Roses" with Kathleen Turner and Michael Doulgas whose marriage is "on the rocks". This disco single is from 1983 and originally was on Numero Uno Records in Rome (a subsidiary of RCA).
Music production is credited to Katmandu Production - Label Coordinator is Giancarlo Meo (Easy Going, Vivian Vee) and Mastering P. Mannucci.
The film "War Of The Roses" was directed by Danny DeVito and was released in 1989.

REISSUE: "Shine On Silver Moon" by Marilyn McCoo & Billy Davis Jr. - Disco Video Mix by Glenn Rivera
McCoo and Davis have been entertaining audience throughout the late 60's as members of the group The 5th Dimension ("Up, Up and Away") - it was in the 70's that their solo endeavors caught wind of the disco dance floors.
"Shine On Silver Moon" was released a disco 12" single - produced by Steve Cropper and Billy Davis Jr. - the remix was executed by John Luongo along with Jimmy Maelen on added percussion.
This is a romantic session with lots of emotion and heart - one of the great classics of disco touch dancing. My partner, Ken asked if I could take the 1987 film "Moonstruck" with Cher and Nicholas Cage and create a disco video mix. It is here with all of the excitement, energy and love.

"Spectrum" - A film by Glenn Rivera (1976) (Playable File)
This is a film I shot 1976 during high school on location at Montgomery Jr. High School here in San Diego, CA - it is a suspense film I shot in my Hitchcock influenced years. The drama of this story took place long before the Columbine tragedy or the bullying issues of today. It was intended as a mystery. Thanks to all the teachers and students who took part in it.
A special thanks to my high school drama teacher, Mr. Dennis Morgan for his help and influence of the arts
This short film runs at about 19 minutes
