"I Took His Money" by Hott City! - Disco Video Mix by Glenn Rivera

Hott City was as disco project produced by Jeffrey Parsons and Jeffrey Steinberg. The LP contained various sessions with lead vocals performed by several performers. "It Took His Money" featured the vocals of Mildred Vaney and Ortheia Barnes who also recorded under the title Cut Glass ("Without Your Love") with both Parsons and Steinberg.

I have take scenes from the 1990 film "Pretty Woman" starring Richard Gere and Julia Roberts and placed the fairy tale premise along with "I Took His Money". I believe they work close enough together.

"Pretty Woman" was directed by Gary Marshall

"La Cage Aux Folles" by Le Jeté - Disco Video Mix by Glenn Rivera

The San Francisco disco resurgence in the early 80's was an exciting part of dance music's history. Producers Ken Kessie, Marty Blechman and Morey Goldstein helped to feed the disco flames with their dedication to dance floors.

Their 1983 dance track cover of "La Cage Aux Folles" was a studio session singer given the name Le Jeté - also known for the first session of Modern Rocketry ("(I'm Not Your) Steppin' Stone", "I'm Gonna Make You Want Me"). The cover of the Broadway plays number is given a disco overhaul with drums and chants to add energy and excitement.

I have taken the 1996 Mike Nichols film, "The Bird Cage" starring Robin Williams, Nathan Lane and Gene Hackman and given it a breath of disco power.

"Sea Hunt" by Patrick Cowley - Disco Video Mix by Glenn Rivera

Patrick Cowley's 1981 project "Megatron Man" was an innovative approach using his masterful approach to designing disco music. His work on synthesizers continues to influence disco/dance music as well as amaze us.

"Sea Hunt" is a cut from the LP which is a cover of the 1961 adventure television show theme by the same name - the show starred Lloyd Bridges. The original theme was composed by David Rose.

I have taken Patrick Cowley's mystical piece and placed it under the 1977 adventure film, "The Deep' starring Nick Nolte, Jacqueline Bisset and Robert Shaw - the action compliments the theme's melodic and haunting feel.

“The Greatest Show On Earth” by Metropolis - Disco Video Mix by Glenn Rivera

The legendary, Tom Moulton worked with Thor Baldursson to create Metropolis in 1978 - it was disco music reaching a full standard in arrangement and execution. The LP featured the well-known ensemble called The Sweethearts Of Sigma (Carla Benson, Evette Benton and Barbra Ingram) - their work has been endless in dance music from backup for Grace Jones to a studio session in Nightlife Unlimited (“Disco Choo Choo”) - it was obvious these girls had it “going on”.

Their first release from the “The Greatest Show On Earth” was the single “I Love New York” which is a club classic. The title track I have taken into a completely new arena - using scenes from the 1967 film “Berserk” featuring the fabulous, Joan Crawford, Ty Harden, Diana Dors and Judy Geeson. Although the song is a theme based on a broken love I placed it below the mystery of a killer on the loose and the excitement of the circus - which obviously is “The Greatest Show On Earth”.

This Disco Video Mix also pays homage to Ms. Joan Crawford and is dedicated to my wonderful friend who shares a parallel for the love of music and film - Loulou from The Netherlands - thank you with much respect and care.

ENVIRONMENTAL WATCH: BIG TV's Becoming the Power Guzzlers!

High definition televisions (HDTVs) are fast becoming the #1 guzzler of electricity in our homes, consuming up to 10% of our homes' total energy usage.

Compared to other appliances, they are about as efficient as a Hummer. And it's not because we can't make them more efficient, but because the manufacturers -- like Sony -- aren't even trying.

We think it's time for the state to set some standards. Help make our homes more energy efficient by taking action today.

The solution is simple: Make TVs more efficient. Many TVs sold today are already meeting minimum energy efficiency standards while delivering quality picture and sound.

The California Energy Commission (CEC) is on the verge of passing new standards that will make HDTVs more efficient, saving consumers $1 billion per year and preventing more than 3 million tons of global warming pollution.

More than 4 million TVs are sold in California each year -- so we can't let this opportunity pass us by.

Even though energy efficiency is a no-brainer for most of us, for the corporations that manufacture televisions lowering electric bills and stopping global warming is not a top priority. That's why they were in Sacramento a few weeks ago testifying against the CEC's proposed energy efficiency standards.

Help us push past their resistance. The CEC is poised to adopt the nation's first ever efficiency standards for televisions on Nov. 18.

Ensure the California Energy Commission adopts these standards by taking action today:
