A&E presents "The Story Of Disco"
The disco underground movement becomes exposed and later faces the backlash of the late 70's. Thanks to disco music's diversity and imaginative artists and producers moves onto a whole new arena and audience.
Some great footage of underground clubs and some wonderful commentaries by Mel Cherin, Ian Levine, Frankie Knuckles and other dance bands and artists.

ReplyDeleteDid you ever get the rest of the show uploaded? I was recording this off cable TV in 1992 on vhs and the power went out just as Sinitta was singing Love on a Mountaintop ...and I have yet to see the end of the show.
