Jeff known as jla2061 here on Multiply (http://jla2061.multiply.com/) passed away on February 20th from lung cancer.
Several concerned members had been asking around since we could no longer find him logging onto Multiply. I had received an email back from his sister at his personal address.
All I know if Jeff is that he was kind and loved dance music very much. When I first met him here he told me he was a old dancer from The Saint in New York. I know that he loved anything by Boris Midney and Cerrone. Currently on his site his last posts were Pet Shop Boys track - which I know he loved also.
I know of the many who were asking about him may have also become touched by his kindness and love for this music. He shared many songs that made me excited about dance music all over again.
I know he lived in Sun City, CA - I had planned to meet him at a bar this past summer but he was too busy and it never happened. I hope that his family is safe and doing well.
I have great memories of Jeff - he will always be the beautiful early morning music that he so loved to dance to as the sun rose and warmed the sky.
R.I.P. my friend - you will be missed and "thought of" often.
i had him as friend to and i pray for his soul sush a guy can only be in the paradys

ReplyDeleteVery, very sad indeed. Thanks for sharing
ReplyDeleteMay Jeff rest in 'disco heaven' peace :-)
ReplyDeleteOMG! I used to see his post around often. I'm so very sorry to hear this. May his spirit be blessed with many blessings and gifts by his side.
ReplyDeleteThat's a sad news!
ReplyDeleteThank you, Glen. Jeff and I wrote each other nearly dayly. As I wrote you and asked you about Jeff...the same moment I did it, I had a very bad feeling, surely because Erwin passed by some days before...
ReplyDeleteI was very confused, because he sent me 10 mix-tapes of 'the saint' and asked me, what I think about it, I answered, but he didn't react anymore.
I'm so sad. He was a very kind and helpfull person. It is strange to say, that I miss him so much, because I never thought, that I would do this by anybody I only know from this space.
But I do... I miss him!!!!
He was a great guy and his kindness and music still rings on. His sister says that he was diagnosed and went quickly - 2 weeks later. It was fast she said. I will be talking with her and probably visit his burial site soon. I will let her know of his kindness and his many friends here.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy life my friend. Smile every time you can and let others know how much you love them. We never know when it will be that time. Life is good. A gift. Take care and good energy to you.
Glenn :)
Thanks 4 sharing ... Prayed for Jeff already that He will be granted eternal rest!
