“A Grand Masquerade Ball” – Part 3 (Finale)
A pictorial and video segment of an evening of royal fun!
This is a video I produced and edited for “A Grand Masquerade Ball” – a birthday party for a dear friend here in San Diego back in 2005. It was held in a huge venue here in San Diego and featured some of the most incredible costumes and entertainment. I was fortunate enough to have been selected as the disc jockey for this event.
There were over 200 guests dressed in lavish masquerade ball costumes and centerpieces of entertainment: including a dramatic entrance of the birthday host, a music playing monkey being raised above the crowd on a hydraulic lift and the most incredible layout of a party.
It is captured here in photos and video (pardon the video capture problem – there was a problem with the camera- but still visible) and music.
At one point of the party while spinning, I looked across the long decorated hall and thought to myself, “I am so blown away and lucky to be apart of this event!”
It was “over-the-top” and incredible!
What a great job you did editing this video iam amazed and what a party, great youve posted this thank you!!!!
ReplyDeleteThank you for watching, Loulou. There was a problem with my first video-cam used for the shoot - it had a problem with a video head being messed up so you see the lines across the footage - it was a bummer because it was a once in a lifetime deal - the birthday boy (great guy) was not too upset - he thought it added a mystique and strange feel to the footage.
ReplyDeleteSince then, Ken has bought me a new video cam (a much better one) and have had the old one repaired so this will never happen again. :)
You must have had a ball.
ReplyDeleteIt looked amazing.
