CONSUMER KNOW-HOW: Brown Eggs vs. White Eggs

Brown eggs are not any different from white eggs. The nutritional value and flavor is the same.

 

You pay a more because the chickens, which lay the brown eggs, are more expensive to feed. The cost is passed down to consumers, which is unfair.

 

Don’t fall for the hype on packaging – there is no difference.

 

My partner and I bought into this thinking they were somehow better – but they are not. Just another packaging technique to fool consumers.

 

Watch out – it’s everywhere – be a smart consumer.
