"The Oscar" (1966) - Part 12 (Finale)
For me, this will always be the male version o "Valley Of The Dolls" - a snotty Hollywood actor learns the hard way how that town can make you see you own reflection.
Great ending - always had my attention as a kid when I would watch on television.
This film was not accepted well - even with it's all-star cast. Was looked at more as a comedy than a drama. I guess that's why I thought it was fun. Was one of the films entered in "Movies We Love To Hate".
Directed by Russell Rouse
Starring Stephen Boyd, Elke Sommer, Milton Berle, Eleanor Parker, Joseph Cotten, Jill St. John, Tony Bennett, Edie Adams, Ernest Borgnine and Hedda Hopper as herself!
