Film Snips: “Trog” (1970) Monkey Dearest?
Joan Crawford stars in this 1970 film about the finding of prehistoric man and then the attempt to tame him. The film is quite funny as it attempts to be serious - but for 1970 and Joan Crawford playing a scientist…how serious can you be?
The first scene is a man in his underwear (?) searching in an old cave for Trog - the second part is Joan setting that monkey straight… “mommie dearest” style!
