I agree: We pay for everyone’s children to go to school - we want to be treated equally is all.

  1. Gay marriage must be legal in every country, its legal for so many years over here in Holland,i perform years ago on many marriages ,gay people can also adopt children over here if they want,im glad i live in such a liberated country, but now its time that every country give the oppurtunity to gay Marriages, thanks Glenn

  2. As I said, who knows maybe we will be neighbors in the future. Ken and are getting pretty fed-up with how things play out here. Too many hillbillies here is the US! :) And fake religious fanatics who try to control what others can and cannot do.

  4. my cousin recently entered into a civil partnership with her partner and everyone treated it just like a normal marriage - good luck to them but I really found it to be a difficult day. It was held in a hotel by a registrar, if it had been allowed to be in a church I'm not too sure whether it might have been a better experience all round.

  6. Chris - Thank you. I understand that it may be difficult in some ways for others who do not knwo the feeling of being born gay or lesbian - but, that should not stop them from getting all that life has to offer. :)

  7. America is so conservative this reminds me years ago we hear in Holland of Anita Bryant this give a lot of commotion under the gay community here in Holland.
We had a dutch singer called The Singer without name, she made a song about Anita Bryant called Listen Anta, after this song came out she became the name the queen of the gays over here.
We must watch out for people like Anita Bryant, when i read about what goinng on in your country it always makes me so angry..
But i must always think about the song listen Anita, she sings in this song that gay people must fight for their rights,i shall post it http://ladivas5.multiply.com/video/item/1033/Zangeres_Zonder_Naam-Luister_Anita

  8. i totally agree Glenn, but us poor relations were dragged out to a ceremony that we felt ill at ease with, as we were family. We love them both both the day's ceremony was very surreal rather than being 'special'. And I bet you and your partner want a 'special' day with everyone enjoying themselves without feeling uncomfortable in any way. It was nothing to do with being gay or not it was the way in which it was held, a bit like a circus sideshow. Sorry if I'm not making myself clear.
By the way - can I ask a question? Can you be born Bi-sexual?

  9. I understand. You know it is funny, Ken and I really do not want the ceremony - we only want to have the right to care for each other as partners. Including health, insurance, etc - we live or lives taking care of each other and know we should have the same rights under the law as any other couple sharing love and a home. We just feel it is time to fight for others who may want it. That is the beauty of it - these are people we don't even know - but we share the trait of being born a homosexual - and we do not have children to raise (some of us) so their is nothing to pass down to anyone except the right to be and live as who you are - and not be treated as a second class citizen - who does get the same as others - we had that back in the Civil Rights with the Afro-Americans in the 50's and 60's. Times do change - we have the Internet and so much knowledge now - it does not make sense that we still treat people with less of because of what or who they are.

I was not born bi-sexual. I knew from the moment I could comprehend my thinking about my surroundings that something was different about me. Like many others do. Then you learn that you look at your own sex in an amorous way. The way a little girl would dream of a Prince after seeing "Cinderella" - it sounds silly but you feel that attraction and curiosity.

I do know some who are bi-sexual - and I fully could understand that feeling. There is allot of psychological issues involved with having the feelings out of the traditional man-woman relationship and sex stuff because you are taught this as child, in films, religion, society, etc.

I always felt it was biological - that there were some genes that were passed on during pregnancy when a mother carries the child - some studies say a mother who is stressed may produce a gay or lesbian child. I don;t know what it is - but it exists. It always has - throughout time.

I do feel for bisexuals because it must be somewhat difficult to decide which sex you want the relationship with - although I would guess most men have a relationship with a woman and sometimes sex with a man - because the man-woman relationship is more acceptable.

Thank you, Chris for always being so kind. :)
