"Space Invaders" by Playback was released in 1979 on Ariola Records originally then remixed and released on WEA Records in Germany listed as Player(1) as the band. I have credited this video project to Playback as listed on the original 12".
In 1977 a film titled "Starship Invasions" was released as an addition to the post-Star Wars craze. This film was a Canadian production, which used many cheap special effects as well as a thin plot. But the idealism behind the film and the acting was top form for B-films. I have taken excerpts of the film to create the music video for "Space Invaders".
