“Wuthering Heights” by Ferrara – Disco Video Mix by Glenn Rivera

John Ferrara produced, arranged, composed and conducted his project “Wuthering Heights” released in 1979 – the concept was close to the disco operetta similar to Alec R. Costandinos’ projects covering “Romeo and Juliet” and “The Hunchback of Notre Dame”.

The side long disco opera is quite a dramatic cover of the Emily Bronte novel “Wuthering Heights” first published in 1847. My focus using pieces of the medley are on the romance and dedication of the main characters.

I have taken the disco interpretation and placed the 1939 film starring Merle Oberon and Laurence Oliver below the beats and string movements.

The film was directed by William Wyler

  2. My favorite part is the dance floor scene. They are all dancing in their long gowns and their movements work exactly with the disco beat. You always please and amaze, Glenn. Loving and missing you !!
