Yes I just posted this on my facebook Page. Why do they do this to themselves.
ReplyDeleteI would imagine that her drug addiction and most likely whatever she was holding inside (that brought on the drugs for escape) finally took its toll. Sad. She never seemed happy - even with the short fame she had experienced.
ReplyDeleteWow..terrible news...Thanks...
ReplyDeleteI wasn't surprised. Such a great voice. She will be missed.
ReplyDeleteLook out for a gazillion remixes of her music.
Such sad news i am a big fan of Amy so talented and what a voice! Here my ffavorite performance of Amy
ReplyDeleteI did not realize that many other rock and roll musicians also died of over doses at the age of 27: Kurt Cobain, Jimi Hendrix, Jim Morrison, and Janis Joplin! What a coincidence that is.
ReplyDeleteThats indeed very strange Glenn, she reminds me so much of Janis Joplin, thank you my friend!
ReplyDeleteLook for a poorly rendered version of Edward Hopper's "Nighthawks" with Winehouse, Cobain and other losers in the all-night cafe scene soon in oh-so trendy shops real soon. Oh, it's been done? Not surprised. A shame that drugs and drink took her soul long before death arrived at her door. My opinion, I may be wrong but I don't think so.
