  1. I loved the World Theater on Hollywood Blvd. 35 years ago. All seats a dollar for a good triple-feature. One week the triple-bill was Carrie, Texas Chainsaw Masssacre, and Torso.
Things were much better way back then. Last movie I went to was in '78. Hooray for me! One dirty movie was advertised on KCBQ as "too hot for the Union-Trib to handle"

  2. Henry - What a triple feature!!! I would have been there. Something about Carlo Ponti's cheesy "Torso" I loved. Seems like there is a new movie every second these days...but I really have no desire to see most of them. Allot of "special effects" in new films - I guess I am burnt out on seeing city's crumble so realistically and super heroes transform :) Thank u, Henry and good energy to you :)

  3. Faked, especially computer-fakery, and destruction for the sake of destroying things takes the fun out of films. I like the older movies better.
    Hugs Glenn,
