Probe was one of Los Angeles' most exciting gay dance clubs - open from 11 PM to ??? That meant sometimes 10 AM the next day. The music and the atmosphere were always on top of the list.
This was the club which was featured in the film, "American Gigolo" - Richard Gere walks down the long flight of steps into the club during one scene and Cheryl Barnes' "Love and Passion" is pounding out of the speakers! Hot!
Late in 1985 a co-DJ, John Riles fastened several guest disc jockey appearances for this and the Probe had one of the most incredible sound systems I have ever worked on. And along with the hardcore dancers it was like spinning in another world. I thank Stuart for giving me the opportunity - since Los Angeles was about status mostly and he was very kind to give me the chance.
