The 60's Frights: "The Night Walker" (1964) - Part 5

"The Night Walker" (1964) - Part 5

A thriller that has a special place in my mind: I was taken to see this at a matinee at the agre of 3 by my sister. It was fun. I loved the opening montage of "dreams" - it is great! Barbara Stanwick can scream pretty well and it is actually quite a spooky film, as ridiculous as the plot is!

A wealthy woman is terrorized by recurring dreams regarding her jealous, blind husband who supposedly burned to death in a recent fire. She tries to convince her attorney that the nightmares are real.

The film's score is by Vic Mizzy - who also did the theme from Green Aces! Great campy score - that lead guitar is groovy and the keyboard is so sinister!

Starring Robert Taylor, Barbara Stanwyck, Judi Meredith, Hayden Rorke, Rochelle Hudson and Marjorie Bennett
