Hi Glenn! I'm not familiar with this release, but am wondering if it is the same song recorded by Linda Clifford on her first album 'Linda' (my favorite of all her albums). It's a fantastic track and was released in an extended form on a 12" single. It goes: From now on, things are gonna be different baby, from now on, you are gonna see a change in me... Co-incidentally I had been thinking of asking if you would consider working your Restructure magic on Linda's track! It would be funny if it turns out to be the same song:) Big hugs, Nick:)
Hello Mr. Nick :) No. It is not the same song. It is actually produced by Herb Jimmerson - who also produced one of my favorite disco groups, Paradise Express - which included his wife and lead vocalist, Vi Ann ("Dance", "Poicinana", "Let's Fly") - the track "From Now On" this pertains to is more of a electronic high energy style - but is also a missed opportunity from the date it was released - it was quite nice - but disco was already being black-balled. I will add Linda's "From Now On" to my queue, though. It is one of my favorites also! Thank you, Nick :)
