LAST UPDATE: 9/17/07
Long before Dean Ferguson’s wonderful vinyl and now CD service, Imports Express there was Mail O Disc.
One of my greatest addictions!
The bi-weekly catalogue would consist of 5 to 6 pages of Import and Domestic disco/dance music and was a very good source for keeping your collection up to date. At the time these were the upcoming classics and a wonderful and fast way to obtain them. These charts can now be used as a point of reference to keep a collection up to date or play catch up.
I am scanning the pages “Import 12” Singles,” “Import LPs” and some “US Albums.” These are excellent because Mail O Disc carried everything!
I will be posting many periods from 1980 - 1986 piece by piece - please check back.
I am posting the main ad and as tempting as it may be, please do not call. For Mail O Disc was long gone following 1986.
Enjoy!
How cool!
ReplyDeleteGlenn, what are the Italian titles in there? The print is too small so i can't see. I am really curious to learn what was imported here from Italy.
I believe you can click on the link below the image which reads a high resolution - it should open larger in another window - if not, email me and I will send the file in PDF format. There are hundreds of these charts with a lot of Italian LPs and single listings - I will get them on here little by little as I scan them. :)
